The problem this solves

A website showing twelve units while the ERP shows two ends with a disappointed customer. Most of the work here is deciding beforehand which system prevails in a disagreement, and what should happen while one of them is unreachable. The sync service uses an outbox so nothing is dropped during an outage, field mapping is written where non-developers can read it, and a log records each record that moved, when, and in which direction.
