Clients rarely break because an interface went down; they break because a field quietly turned nullable. A contract suite is what catches that. Ours measures each response against its schema, inspects status codes and the shape of errors, and enforces the authorisation rules that matter, so no customer can ever read another's records. It runs on each pull request, turning a breaking change into a red build instead of a partner's ticket.
