The problem this solves
If releases still depend on a quiet Sunday at 2am, this engagement retires that habit. Each new version starts, clears its health checks and only then takes traffic, while the version it replaces stays warm for an immediate fallback. Schema work uses an expand-and-contract sequence, letting both generations of code run together during a release. The whole sequence is rehearsed in staging, a deliberately broken release included.
